Aerogem pendants incorporate the finest quality materials. The metal is a hand crafted composite made up of titanium, brass, and silver, with borosilicate glass - also known as hard glass.  Hard glass, unlike conventional glass, is extremely strong and durable, and has thermal shock resistance that is similar to the Pyrex products you have in your kitchen.
